I don't know what a "work form hope position" is. It sounds great though ;)

Maybe he means that he does "hope" that the link builder will work. lol

Hey 2500 is low for a good seo ;). Which I'm ranking in the top 5 for website design and many other competitive keywords, but I shot him an e-mail I might have something hes interested in, and thats contextual links.

But hey this might be a good offer for someone needing some work, and knows hot to build links.

Thanks aaraon, once again great post!

Thanks for the post. Can you please send me his contact email address? I will send him an email with details about my experience and qualifications.

It doesn't specify number of hours or requirements per month. If full time, that's about $14.50 an hour, presumably on a 1099 or a non-benefits W2. Please send me all the resumes you don't pick. I'd be more than happy to employ some self disciplined, creative, and aggressive people for that rate.

Oops. It says full time. Good luck with that. I couldn't even find anybody on eLance for under $17 an hour.

P.S. Why would anybody call this a "great post?" Great relative to what? Certainly not relative to most of your other posts which are usually great.

I have mentioned about this post to some of my friends in India that are hard working for the pay rate. For them, this post and the offer would certainly be great. Actually I posted the above comment on behalf of one of them.

Mathew Shuff:
A few of the above friends are working for an American Insurance guy for $12. If you are interested in outsourcing the work to these friends, I can certainly ask them to be in touch with you.

Thank you.

Lata,

I'd definitely be interested in a referral to your Indian friends. Perhaps Aaron would be kind enough to send you my email address?

Thanks!

It's late here, early there. I'm sitting at my terminal 11:00 PM Guangzhou, China time wondering how nice it would to be home in (Portland, Or). My IT department (China) is just getting off work, another 10 hour day, we are as "Michael Mann" would have said it, on a "killer project."

I am hunched over my desk, it's the last call for a final red wine, I'm doing a last minute scan of my RSS feeds. What's that, my red eyes begin to focus more intently, hummmm; link builder wanted? A little farther down some guy thinks it's too cheap, another has a "friend" in a developing country, and here I sit, in the middle of SEO "combat" heaven.

Yes; My IT department is at war, continuously, daily. I'm in China and I run a gorilla SEO department out of here. I have assembled a small, dedicated team, of motivated young men and women all IT University graduates. Surrounded by Universities churning out 3.8 million graduates yearly I decided to add this camp to my small group of factories. I'm a seasoned SEO combat veteran and ready for the fight if you're interested in contacting me.

I also wonder, if there is anyone else in need of kick butt SEO services. Let's us know what you need.

My email is (my name no spaces) at hotmail.com.

KidMercury should grab this gig and submit his own stuff as he is working it.

We may have to hold a benefit for him soon.

.. and suddenly the comments at SEO-book look like the usual link development thread at DP or eLance.

Why do people think that a few word 'we can do this - contact me' message would attract any attention from a potential client?

(And no, I'm not at all interested in the job at that rate, but I'm sure you can get a reliable hard working employee from a developing country for whom this offer would mean a lot)

I hope you are still interested in employing someone for full time SEM. I do not wish to list down a few qualities that may make me eligible for selection, but I do possess what it takes to become a successful person, and if it requires self discipline, creativity and aggressiveness, then I have it. Please email me at (myname) at (gmail) dot com and I will email you a full resume and my experience in the search marketing arena.

Doesn't seem like a lot of replies for a job opp like this. Most likely the $1700 was too low. Did he find his link builder?

Seeing the way things are going, I think that I am close to being another candidate for this position. But I guess it must be filled by now, by looking at the amount of resumes that are flooding through this forum. Certainly, as some on posted, I am not close to the top search engine marketers, but I can move on to make a difference, irrelevant of the magnitude. If anyone wishes to provide me with a chance to contribute to SEM, please drop in an email to seosyllogis@gmail.com.
