Well they only sold 13 seats so far (according to their website)... maybe they will give away a few others?

December 9, 2006 - 12:39am

Wow, nice offer!

Is there any recommended length (word count) for this answer? Couple lines? Four-five page essay? Or is it all a go?

December 9, 2006 - 3:20am

Anything goes....good luck!

December 9, 2006 - 9:46am

Thanx for the great offer. I've gone ahead and sent in my email request, with fingers crossed. I hope I've optimized the message for what your biological, physiological, psychic, emotional, philosophical algorithms are seeking...

Good luck to all hopefuls...

December 9, 2006 - 10:11am

The Deadline is Monday at noon.

December 9, 2006 - 11:19am

Right on Aaron, nice of you to do. I can't imagine how many essays you're going to receive--just hope that they're all good (nothing worse than a bad piece of SEO writing)... :)

Looks way overpriced to me. Dave's the only person I'd pay to listen to. Sorry for the negative comment, but to spend nearly $5,000 to hear that few number of people speak seems pretty insane.

Hi Marty
Interesting that you would read my blog and comment on my blog if you thought my advice has no value.

Good point :-) Don't you just love people like me?

$5k is a lot of money to invest in your education. The fact is that there are plenty of people who would NOT get their money's worth out of it.

The challenge is to be one the people who gets MORE than their money's worth out of it.

Its a great opportunity, too bad I cannot afford to pay all at once. :-(. The SEM, SMM & Networking portions would have paid atleast 20 times over in the next year alone.

Tim 5K investment in education is nothing specially when you are looking at Search Marketing as a career.

Marty why would we want more people? Its brain storming not a seminar with 15 mins of fluff and hours of BS sales pitches.

I think about how much money I wasted on education in college an walked away with a degree and learned nothing when it comes to real world applications. This will teach real world applications and is worth so much more then years of education at a college. The ROI would be made up in the first six months to a year. (I would be willing to bet) Even though some of the sessions at SES and PubCons in the past I have gone to have not been worth it I have still learned more and made my money back for investing in those in the first few months! I can bet one on one sessions with these 4 would kick the pants off any SEO conferences going on right now.

Hi Aaron.
I have a correction for you:
On your Seo Book url:
http://www.seobook.com/buy-now.shtml

You ask a question: What’s the number one thing that search engine experts do NOT want you to know about increasing traffic to your web site?

And you answer: That it’s easier than you think.

Well... heres my tip:
Word it like this...

What’s the number one thing that search engine experts DO NOT want you to know?

That increasing traffic to your Web site is easier than you think!

P.S.
Great site Aaron!!!

Best of luck!

Damn it! I'll be in L.A. during that retreat. I haven't seen you in a while, man. I'm scheduled to rejoin the conference circuit in '07. Tell the bars to look out now!
