I always like to start off by telling people that I'm from Northern Ontario, a rural community. I tend to believe that the people who call home a small town or city that is off the beaten path are a little unique. We have an aura of small town virtues, challenging characteristics that seem to be at odds with the norm(fairness, honesty and transparency) in todays business society.
I have worked with the small business community for the last 20 years. In the last 5 years my focus has been consulting small business about the need to expand markets through different channels and locations. I am new to the field of internet marketing, coming from an older school I wrestle with the challenges that computers present. In many ways I am a mirror of the problems with the small business community.
I am however passionate and a sponge for new knowledge.
