Recently my buddy blogger Andy Beal got nominated as a finalists for the ClickZ Marketing Excellence Awards 2004.
He is up against Seth Godin, who recently made a post about why he did not like SEO. While Seth is still one of my favorite marketers I am still mad at him. If you like SEO vote Beal :)

I am not sure if I am going to SES. I do not work on many websites (because I spend too much time in various forums) and when I leave to go to conferences it means that I do not work on websites at all.
I also do not actively look to pick up clients when I go to the conferences because that does not mesh well with my personality. I am a bit introverted away from the web.
Also lots of the news occurs when you are at the conferences and it is a bit hard to blog to stay current and work for my clients and go to the conference.
I do have friends and family out that way, so its kinda like a toss of a coin as to if I will go.
If I do hopefully I will run into ya.
