Last week Google bought a stake in Baidu.com, one of China's leading search engines. Today Yahoo! launched the Yisou.com search site.

It will be interesting to see if the Chinese government forces Google and/or Yahoo! to block or filter certain sites in their engines (or if the Chinese people will find a way around it). For more info about this, check out these two Wired News articles (they are old, but good):
