MSN is to launch a couple custom bots.
MSN News Bot
MSN News Bot Tracks over 4,000 different news sources. MSN has an About / FAQ page which answers common questions such as "Why are you tracking which stories I read?"

MSN Blog Bot
MSN Blog Bot will not be the first blog based bot on the planet (though in the first article below they seem to think they will be.) Already there are many blog specific search engines and tracking systems such as Daypop and Technorati.
MSN Blog Bot will not scour all blogs on the web. They are looking to provide information from the top couple hundred thousand blogs on the web based on credability (which will most likely be determined by linkage data.)
