This is just a fun post. Recently DMOZ linked into thumbshots with a little red ball to provide a thumbshot previews of listed sites. Here is a cool search page which will allow you to search Google using your own CSS file or one which already has thumbshots...

Lovely. It would be better if all the links have thumbshots but I can see the usefulness in them. I just found a site I was looking for by glancing on the thumbshots. You get to search deeper because you spend less time reading word by word.

You're right Shriydan, I find it really useful. Apparently, the thumbshots are made available for Free to search engines & directories at www.thumbshots.org. I wish one day I can have thumbshots in my favorite search engine (long live Google!)
